LEGAL & TRUST

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern access to PrepTally’s study, assessment, review and content-administration services.

Effective 21 July 2026

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By requesting access or using PrepTally, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into this agreement. Pilot access may be manually approved, restricted or withdrawn.

2. Educational purpose

PrepTally is an educational preparation tool. It does not guarantee examination success, professional qualification, employment or any particular result. Scores and recommendations are indicators based on recorded activity and defined formulas; students remain responsible for their preparation and official examination requirements.

3. Accounts and roles

  • Each user must use their own account and keep access credentials secure.
  • Student, instructor, content-administrator and super-administrator permissions differ.
  • Teacher and administrative roles are invitation-only and may require verification.
  • You must promptly report unauthorized access or inaccurate role assignment.

4. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to bypass solution-release rules, role permissions or security controls; scrape or mass-copy protected content; upload malware or harmful code; impersonate another person; interfere with other users; or use PrepTally unlawfully.

5. Academic content and intellectual property

PrepTally’s interface, structure, original materials and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party examination questions, examiner comments and standards remain subject to their owners’ rights and may be used only where authorized. Access does not transfer ownership or grant permission to redistribute protected material.

6. Student answers and instructor feedback

You retain rights in original content you submit, while granting PrepTally the limited permission needed to store, display and process it for learning, marking, administration and service operation. Instructor marks replace self-marks in calculations only under the stated review workflow. Completed reviews may be locked to preserve history.

7. Availability and changes

Features, subjects and pilot availability may change. We may maintain, suspend or discontinue parts of the service, including to address security, legal, technical or content-rights issues. We aim for reliable access but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or removed for breach of these terms, security risk, non-payment where paid access applies, misuse of content or platform closure. Historical academic and audit records may be archived where necessary.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, PrepTally is provided on an “as available” basis. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, examination outcomes, or decisions made solely from readiness scores. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing terms and contact

Additional terms may apply to paid plans, institutions or specific jurisdictions and will be presented before they apply. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. Questions should be sent through the Contact page.
